Marian F. DeSantis, CLTC, CSA

Marian F DeSantis is a Specialist in long-term care planning and financing.  After 25 years in the health care industry and personal experience caregiving for her parents, Marian focus to long-term care adopting a personal mission of assisting and educating clients in long-term care planning, ensuring that they can live comfortably throughout their lifetime.

Marian is an accredited provider by the PA Supreme Court Continuing Legal Education Board and the State Board of Accountancy Continuing Professional Education on Long Term Care Insurance and Medicaid Estate Recovery Program.  Also, an accredited instructor by the PA Department of Insurance, Continuing Education for the Long Term Care Partnership Program for the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists.

Marian is affiliated with many professional organizations, which focuses their agenda on long-term care, caregiver, and elder care legislation. Her monthly editorials on the subject of Long Term Care were featured in Pittsburgh Boomers, a specialized publication dedicated to Area Baby Boomers. She is an occasional guest on WBVP/WMBA, a live, call-in radio talk show and has been interviewed by Pittsburgh Business Times with the affects employers take with long-term care insurance offering. On February 4, 2005, Marian was published as Guest Commentary for her editorial titled, "Women pay personal, professional price for taking on caregiver role" with the Pittsburgh Business Times a publication of American City Business Journals.

Through further education of long-term care and financing under Phyllis Shelton, National Leading Authority on Long Term Care, President, LTC Consultants and Harley Gordon, CELA, Elder Law Attorney,  President,  Corporation  for  Long Term Care Certification, Marian has earned her Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC) Master Class Designation affiliated with the College of Financial Planning endorsed by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Marian is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Certified Enrollment Specialist (CES) and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University.
